TITLE: Imaging Manager(ARRT)
LOCATION: East of Columbus, OHIO

If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

Here is the details:  
Under the direction and supervision of the Director and Medical Directors the Imaging Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient flow of daily workloads. 
This individual must possess an excellent knowledge of good technical quality in reviewing of radiographs as well as the ability to assist and direct other technical personnel in daily job duties. 
The Manager is responsible for effective scheduling of staff to cover all shifts and modalities within the department while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity. 
This individual is responsible for the oversight of supply inventory, quality control and equipment maintenance. 
The Manager assists in the orientation, training and evaluation of all technical and support staff within the Diagnostic Imaging department. 
He/she must be competent to function in the absence of the Director while maintaining all safety, regulatory and fiscal responsibilities. 
This individual must have excellent communication skills and keep the Director informed of all issues within the department. 
The Manager must be competent to serve as a resource in the operation of all diagnostic equipment, the computer systems and the basic knowledge of the proper performance of the equipment utilized in the department on a daily basis. 
This individual must be competent in all aspects of proper charges and record management. 

Qualifications:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT).
Bachelors Degree required. 
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation, conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated excellence with listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a complex and changing working environment.
Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management.
Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Other info:
Responsible for the following radiology departments: Imaging Services Administration, General Radiology, MRI, Nuclear Med, Ultrasound, CT Scan, PET Scan.
This is also over multiple sites.
Person reports to Imaging Director and will have one other peer Imaging Manager.
Person needs to have at least 1-2 years of experience and have their ARRT.
The Director is looking for a Patient Centered individual looking to help build a great team. One who is looking to develop employees and engage staff in the decision making process for the department.
 
The pay depends on experience but the range is $28.94hr-$38.90hr. A great benefit package and relocation is being offered.
